Isabelle Dances Into The Spotlight Movie Review

Hi!
Recently, I went to AGP Seattle to watch the all new movie, Isabelle Dances Into The Spotlight.

And I cried.

Y'all must be wondering why a tween would cry at a movie with nothing creepy in it at all.

I guess all the Isabelle and Jade fights were what made me cry. I honestly don't know why.

The movie is about Isabelle Palmer and her battling for her confidence back. The movie is based on her books, which I haven't read yet.

The Dancing~ Perfecto
My dad and I loved the dancing. Like zayummm, those kids were amazing!
Jade was like obviously the legend ballet dancer at Anna Hart and I have to say I agree! She was so graceful. Isabelle was great, too, and during the scene where she and Renata (the mean girl) dance-battled, she beat the mean guts out of Renata. And her twirl during that scene~ WOW! I'd have to say that was one of my favorite scenes out of the movie. She perfected the Pirouettes for the Nutcracker Ballet in the end. Erin Pitt can dance!

My review on the main characters~

Isabelle Palmer-
Not much to say. She obviously is the main character (hence the movie title). She's played by Erin Pitt. I think AG did a great job casting Isabelle. Erin is just exactly like her in real life. Isabelle is 9 years old, though she seems to act like a twelve year old in the movie.
Jade Palmer-
My favorite character. She's played by Grace Davidson. Her dancing was graceful and amazing. Her hair was really pretty and long.
Renata~
Mean girl. Her trademark was her smirk. She could dance well, too, and she did nice cartwheels.
Jackie Sanchez~
Wow! Not much to say, but she was a big part of this movie.

My overall rate: 8/10
The laughing could have been toned down. In my opinion, the characters laughed way too much at some lines hat weren't even funny. I also wish they showed more of Isabelle's dance studio.

  2. Nice review! I agree with you, there are too many parts where the characters laugh and I don't even think it's funny. :)
